Hello, my brother have problem with his PC... His monitor resolution is 1440x900, but he dont have this resolution in Settings, he have a blurring image. He tried his monitor on my PC and all is working well. We thinked it was GPU, so we buyed one, i think its GTX 650, and still there is no his native resolution, we tried Custom Res. and same, we reinstalled Windows, drivers, everything. . So what could be the problem ?

First make sure the monitor is plugged into the graphics card. Then if you installed Nvidia drivers correctly, you should see all available options in the Nvidia Control Panel (right-click on the desktop to access).

okay, I guess you can force a custom resolution. go to Change Resolution > Customize > check Enable resolutions not exposed by this display > then Create a custom resolution > set horizontal pixels to 1440, and vertical to 900, refresh to 60, color depth to 32 > scan type Progressive > and leave Timing at automatic > Test > should show correctly. Then choose that on the Change Resolution page.

We tried custom resolution but nothing... But in the meantime we found solution. I installed software called "Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)", I changed resolution via that program, reboted, and all works well now.
