I'm buying a low budget laptop that will be okay for gaming so I've decided I should purchase a Lenovo G505s.
On Amazon a version of it is advertised with an AMD Radeon HD 8570 card. On JohnLewis a version is advertised with an AMD Radeon HD 8650G, however this is cheaper and I'm on a low budget so this matters also I prefer to buy from a store rather than Amazon.
Is there a large performance difference between these 2 cards that would make a noticeable difference?

The CPU with both laptops is the same: Quad-core AMD A10-5750M 2.5GHz. However for some reason the JohnLewis one is advertised with 8GB RAM and the Amazon one is advertised with only 6GB.

Appears to just be a common typo. According to AMD it is the HD8650G (This is an integrated graphics card, not discrete, and I don't think they would have included a discrete card in this tier of product)

If they only put 6GB of memory into it, then that is what they did. Also they don't list an OS so it wouldn't arrive in a working manner from Amazon.

The other one would have 8GB so it is slightly better, and would come with an OS, not really a choice here.

@Eximo
It says the Operating System in the product title of the Amazon page, and on the official Lenovo website it says the 2nd model uses the 8570 card nothing is mentioned about a HD8650G card. But I suppose if the extra RAM makes a bigger difference than the other card I shall go with that one. Thanks.

the 8570m and 8650m are the same gpu, both have the same 384 core gcn chips clocked at 650mhz and boost to 700mhz….though there might be vendor specific small changes to these core speeds.

the main difference is that the 8570 uses gddr3 memory while the 8650 uses much faster and much better gddr5 memory. if the laptops are the same price, definitely get the one with the 8650.
