What is the Maximum RAM you could ever put on a PC not Thereotically but How Much??
I thought 64GB was MAx??
My friends told me Swifty Has 96GB Ram so What is the Max Possible??

It depends on the motherboard (type, number of memory slots, chipset). So, for your system, what make/model of motherboard are you using?

It's mostly dependent on your motherboard. Largest supported RAM on a consumer grade mobo is 128gb. Windows 8 64bit supports up to 128gb of RAM. Windows 8 Pro 64 bit and Enterprise 64 bit support up to 512gb.

In theory. Yes, it says 128GB. But it only has 8 slots, so you'd need 16GB RAM sticks, which don't exist in consumerspace yet.

At work we have Dell T7610, dual CPU LGA2011. They will host 256GB (16x16GB) of memory. We only run 128GB (16x8GB) though. Still hilariously expensive though, over $10K.

Weirdest thing is that it has PCIe Slots both 'above' and 'below' the processors. So you can do dual or triple SLI or Crossfire, but not quad...

It's ECC buffered RAM used for servers.... But anyone running 128gb is probably running a server, unless they are crazy... Or are using a RAMdisk.
