Solution
Bug Check 0x116: VIDEO_TDR_ERROR
video hardware stopped responding to windows.
if you have updated video drivers and still get this, you might go to control panel and disable any high definition audio devices that you are not using
(don't have a speaker connected) for example your HDMI cable supports sound but often your monitor will not have speakers.

it does not fix the problem but can change the timings in the driver so you hit the problem less.

- you might also update your BIOS, disable overclocking, and make sure your card and PCI bus are not overclocked
