Cant open any media file?

It started recently, I dont know what happened but somehow i am unable to open any media file like any picture or a mp3 file, when ever i open a file my whole pc stucks or hangs, even if i save a background, the browser stops working (wtf??) some times it work like after waiting for a couple of minutes but the pc remains slow, please help me,

if you haven't already, try running Malwarebytes - http://www.malwarebytes.org it's free and it does a great job of finding stuff that regular antivirus programs can't. Another thing to try is Ccleaner - https://www.piriform.com/CCLEANER also free and it can clean up your registry and file extensions. Run the cleaner and the registry tabs.

Also what kind of computer are you running? Make, model, specs?

Thank you everybody and specially ''bdiddytampa'', the problem was solved I just used the malwarebytes and it helped me solve my problem it fix the viruses and i was again good to go. Thanks again.

Malwarebytes is a great program, and a necessary supplement to any antivirus program you run. It is designed to specifically target infections that regular AV software can't ID or can't clean properly. I have a set schedule that my regular AV program runs, and I load up Malwarebytes once a week for a quick scan to make sure :) Glad I could help out and good luck!
