I want to build a bang for the buck everything pc. that means im going to use it for streaming, word processing, web surfing, but here is the catch, I also wanna be able to play eso on high-max settings, or any other game for that matter really. I have been gaming at 20 fps for too many years and i want and deserve to experience 60fps! so im thinking i want an i5 for sure, windows 8, i dont need a ton of storage, and I want as close to $600 as possible build. =) please include all the components i would need for the complete build, "that is all," please help?! btw this will be my 1st ever build. btw im going to play at 1080.

Solution

Solution

The AMD is more performance for less , The difference between 500gb and 1 Tb is 2 Bucks so go for the 1 TB

Its your money and whatever you want to do is up to you , M motherboards have no problems they are just smaller but as good as non-M , AMD Beats Nvidia in the GPU Market but then its your money.

i was thinking along these lines if i were to go with an nvidia card,

CPU: i5 4670k ($235 newegg)
Motherboard: Asrock z97 pro4 ($100 newegg)
Memory: Team Vulcan ddr3 1600 2x4 ram ($72 newegg)
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($52 NCIX US)
Video Card: asus gtx 750 ti 2gb ddr5 ($140 newegg)
Case: Cooler Master HAF 912 ($50 newegg)
Power Supply: Thermaltake smart series 550w 80+ bronze ($60 newegg)
Optical Drive: Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer ($17 OutletPC)

Thats all just off of looking at newegg and the list you provided me, that totals $726, I bet could get under $700 if i searched/bundled at places like a microcenter. probably be in the $650 range tbh. what do you think about that build? i have just been searching stuff since i made this post and put that together just now

CPU : Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz LGA 1150 Boxed Processor
Motherboard : ASUS Z97-AR LGA 1150 Intel ATX Motherboard
Bundle Cost : 308.10 $
Memory : G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-2133 Memory ( 76.50$ @Newegg )
HDD : Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ( 52.00$ @NCIXUS )
Video Card: Sapphire Radeon R9 270X 2GB Dual-X Video Card ($178.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Case: Enermax ECA3253-BW ATX Mid Tower Case ($39.99 @ Amazon)
Power Supply: EVGA 500W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply ($34.99 @ NCIX US)
Total : ~691

This is the best I could do without sacrificing performance.

what are the differences between those two mobos that makes the one you suggested better? im not being rude at all and i appreciate all your responses! like i said, first time build, i just know the basics!

Mine has better Overclocking abilities and better onboard features also Asus makes the most reliable boards with the least amounts of Failures.

okay, so that means what as far as the best value for what i need? im obviously not adept enough to begin with the overclocking world but im not ruling it out in the future if i want to push my build a little more. and how would those two compare to the pro4? im so confused between the actual differences and what difference they make in performance between the pro4, extreme4, and the ar

Its so complicated to explain , You can read reviews and find yourself :)

The AR version is the tweaked version of the A thats why its better IMO , The Extreme 4 is indeed a very reliable Motherboard but the only downside that 2.42% of them fail.
