Hello people, I'm new to this forum, though I have found many answers to problems here before. With that, I'm having an odd problem which no one seems to be able to help with. My current rig is as follows:

Asus Sabertooth 990FX r.2.0
32 GB G.skill Ripjaw Z, clockable up to 2400MHz (currently running at 1866MHz)
ASUS GTX750TI-OC-2GD5 GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0
AMD 4.7GHz (clockable to 5.0GHz) Vishera 9590 Vishera 8-core CPU
Logitech mouse & keyboard linked to PC via Logtech's RF unifying technology
USB 3.0 PCIe expansion card
sATA PCIe expansion card
13 HDDs of varying sizes, 8 internal, 5 external
1 Samsung SSD
Antec Kuhler H20 1250 liquic cooling solution
Cooler Master Haf Stacker w/2 915R expansions (one below & 1 above)

It's definitely overkill but I have no intention of building a new rig anytime soon.

I'm pretty experienced when it comes to hardware (I've built many PC's for myself & friends), I know my way around. However, I'm having an issue I can't quite figure out involving the Logitech receiver & the USB 3.0 ports. Apparently the USB 3.0 ports interfere with the RF signals getting to the receiver. I moved the receiver to a USB 2.0 port on one of my docking stations and that solved the problem. However, I can no longer get into my UEFI BIOS as the PC can not detect my keyboard or mouse until the OS (Windows 8, 64-bit Pro) loads, then no problems. I can use the direct BIOS feature of the MB but still have no mouse or keyboard support once in the BIOS, forcing me to just shut the PC down. After doing some research, I found out that the Keyboard has to be a PS2 board, or the logitech USB receiver has to be plugged into either the 1st or 2nd port in the I/O. Unfortunately, the 1st & 2nd USB ports sit next to USB 3.0 ports, making entering the BIOS nearly impossible due to the signal interference b/w the RF signal & the USB 3.0 technology (the receiver doesn't receive the keyboard or mouse signals, or there is at least a 30 second delay between pressing a key and the receiver registering it.

So, does anyone know a workaround? I've tried everything I can think of. Your help would be much appreciated.

Hey guys, never mind this post. I simply got a USB 2 extension cable, plugged it into port 2 on my MB and it worked like a charm.
