Hello,
I am very new to PC's for gaming and PC's in general and had one pre-built by CyberPower. It has been working fine, but recently it has been reaching temperatures of 45 degrees celsius when at the desktop or on websites. It is summer, but in June and July it was usually at about 35 degrees while online.

I do have my computer under my desk, so if that is a factor please let me know.

Thanks!

Those temps are quite safe, only above 70 do you need to start worrying really, but if you are still worried, a few more case fans won't be a bad idea
That is normal. When the air you're cooling your PC with increases, you can expect your idle temps to increase also at a nearly a 1:1 ratio. In the fall and winter, my machine idles @ 37-39C. In the late spring and summer like now, I'm cruising at 45-47C. I could get that lower by dropping my overclock but my temps under gaming load are only 76-78C so it is fine.

That's actually really good temperatures man! I would say some of the best I've seen on here. If you really are worried grab a new heatsink, but those temps really are just right. If I helped you mark this as best answer so others know where to look too! :)
