Solution
hard to recommend without knowing the purpose of this system. Is it gaming? If yes, it's Ok, but the MB should be ASUS/Gigabyte M5A97.

And change the PSU to Seasonic S12II 620 or XFX pro 550.

1600/1833 RAM is enough. No point paying the price premium for a 2133.

And down the line you have to add a CPU cooler if you have to add a CPU cooler if you want to overclock the CPU.

I'm in the middle of building my first pc too, so I'm no professional in computer building.

However, I noticed that on the Gigabyte website that the power supply requirement of the gpu is 600w but you have a 500w psu. Now I don't know if 500w is going to ok with your gpu but if I was up to me I would get a 600w psu.

Whats always recommended is to get a XFX or Seasonic branded psu as they are the best quality, but they are more expensive. If you can't afford a Seasonic psu you could get a EVGA 600w bronze PC Power Supply or perhaps try Corsair CX 600w, but there not good quality especially for gaming builds and apparently have shorter lifespans.
