triple channel memory and dual channel memory

Hi I have an evga x58 sli3 with 6 memory slots I was wondering if I can install 3 same memory's as one set and also add another 2 same memory's to it?

A definitive MAYBE! There's no guarantees when mixing DRAM from different packages, even if they are the exact same model, and mixing as you suggest may require some adjustments of the base timings, secondary timings as well both DRAM and MC (memory controller) voltages (that's the worst end scenario, there's also a slight chance all may play together at the mobos defaults (prob 1066)
