Getting bad FPS with R9 290 and AMD FX 9370 on BF4

I am getting bad FPS in BF4 with my R9 290 and AMD FX 9370. Some maps I would be getting 60 FPS, but in other maps I would be getting 32-58 FPS. My temperatures are fine with my r9 290 and CPU and I updated my drivers.


CPU: AMD FX 9370 4.4 ghz
GPU: ASUS DirectCU 2 OC R9 290
PSU: AZZA Titan 1000 watt PSU
RAM: 8GB
Motherboard: ASUS Crosshair V Formula-Z AM3+ AMD 990FX SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard
CPU cooler: Cooler Master Seidon 240M

The game engine. That map must have some crazy coding going on. It's fustrating, but at least it isn't every map in the game. What's more fustrating is having a really fast CPU and still lag like hell on some areas of really old DX9 games like WoW.

Try adjusting settings when you play on those nasty maps. Settings like vegetation and shadows. You might find the culprit.
