I did a custom build. I will list my parts here now and maybe ye can tell me what went wrong.

Intel PentiumG860
Radeon 1GB XFX HD7770
Corsair CX500w
Asus P8H61-MX
Corsair Vengance DDR3 4GB
Western Digital 500GB

My problem is I get no picture but also no beeps to help. Any ideas?

Reset your bios and try again. It might be a bad mobo. Also, be sure you have the case wire plug into your alarm of your mobo. If not, or if you don't have one, you cannot hear your beeping code. So beeping could not necessarily point to a problem.

Does that motherboard even have a PC speaker, I don't see it on the spec list and can't find it in images of it, so you may not get any beeps. I would test the motherboard with another power supply if you have one on hand. If that doesn't work I would assume the board might be DOA which does happen occasionally and you will have to RMA it. There could also be an electrical short, I would take a look for a short before sending it back.

Check for any stray screws that may have fell behind the motherboard or on the front of the motherboard that you may have missed, make sure no metal is touching the motherboard other than the mounting screws. You can try rocking your case back and forward to see if you hear any screws moving around, I wouldn't recommend doing this with hard drives inside.

Check your mobo manual. There is usually two pins you need to short when your power is shut down. I use a knife to short them if I don't have a jumper.

The second option is removing the round battery for a minute and put it back after.

If your machine doesn't post then, you might have a bigger problem.
