Hey I'm attemping to build a from scratch, this would be my first time building a computer so I'm not looking for anything too complicated or expensive as my budget is $1000.
So far my build is as follows (this is all being bought from a cheap online store in australia, Umarthttp://)
Case - CoolerMaster HAF XB (only chose it since it looks nice and portable)
CPU - Intel i5 4690 3.50ghz
Motherboard - Asus Maximus Vii Ranger
feel free to critique and add your own thing. I'm mainly using this pc for casual video and image editing as well as some autocad/revit programs and as well as the standard games of today. Has to be able to perform lots of multitasking, and the usual uni programs like excel and word. I don't want two graphics cards just yet, and i don't necessarily want to overclock just yet either, maybe in the future when i have more money, but i was buying this motherboard with the intention of upgrading and swapping parts in the future.
whoops forgot to add that i only need to build the pc, i already have a OS, a mouse, speakers, headphones, keyboard and monitor
