I just today changed my computer from a AMD graphics card to a Nvidia card and now the primary monitor my 2 monitor set up is rely washed out, black are appearing grey and it's just really bad, every calibration methode resets instantly nvidia control or windows will change for a split second and go back to overwhite, i tried manny things i found online nothing changes

i am thinking this maybe cause amd stuff is still on the pc ? i tried remove the amd stuff but i cannot, it doesn't show up in windows uninstaller or ccleaner, i tried find a manual remove but i can't its like permanantly stuck there and even removing it from start up does nothing

What did you do with the drivers?

Did you install the latest Nvidia drivers? When you got this problem, did you try older Nvidia drivers?

If the AMD drivers are still there and won't get scrubbed away, it might well be worth nuking from orbit and reinstalling windows with your data backed up.

i just took the amd card out, put the new one in and then installed nvidia drivers, i ended up figuring out a way remove ccc through its installer but i am not sure where to find the drivers to remove, looked up device manager didnt see them tho

i probably could use a reset thing is at the moment it would be tricky for me seeming i have 3TB data and not much free space so i need get another drive first before i do that

so, you are saying out of the 2 monitors, only one have the "color wash out" issue? Is that monitor connected using HDMI?
If it is, this might be the reason?

I think you should install NV driver like Darksable suggested, if that doesn't help, try find a solution from that geforce forum link.

yea was using HDMI, i changed setting from the RBG limited to YCbCr444 and it looks alot more decent, thanks, and yea worked on drivers i think its mostly all good now, i will probably invest into buying DVI cables so i can use both DVI ports and evoid that digital color format issue
