putting laptop parts into a tower.

okay so my PC has a broken screen and i don't have enough money to fix the screen. so i was wondering if i could put some of those parts into my tower. My tower runs off of Windows XP. and my PC is running off of Windows Vista. Is it possible to do this?

Generally only the harddrive can be connected to a normal PC. The RAM will not fit and any add-in cards in the laptop will not fit anywhere either. However if you try to boot from the laptop harddrive, there is a good chance it will not work like that. You might be able to read from the laptop harddrive to transfer files though.
