About 4 or 5 years ago i got this pc. Its got an i5 first gen, 4GB ddr3 1333 ram and at the time it came with 2x hd5670's. ( which i've know replaced with 1 hd7850 OC )
lately i've been noticing pc being extremely slow. like i'll open google chrome and it'll not open and then minutes later i'll get the " google chrome has crashed " message. Minutes later i tell you. And songs and stuff in vlc will get stuck for a few seconds and then continue on. I've looked at task manager to see if anythings eating up all the processing power but nope
. Did a full virus scan with eset smart security and found nothing there. checked drivers and windows updates. And! i've recently applied thermal paste to the cpu. And then today i got a check hard disk for errors message so i did the disk check thing and it didnt fix it. Could that be it? or is my pc dying of old age. Its relatively clean inside.
