Facts: So I bought a new Motherboard, Z97 Pro, two new memory car 8gb x2 (Vengeance 16gb) and a new CPU, 4770K. I'm using the name GPU.

Problem: My monitor is not displaying even though my computer is on. I can hear the fan blowing and the lights turn on. I've tried DVI and HDMI cable, but neither works. Everything used to work properly with my old motherboard.

I'm pretty sure all the cables that were connected in the previous motherboard is similarly connected to Z97. The only exception is the cable marked AC'97. I can't find a proper outlet. Though my HD Audio I think is connected to the proper outlet.

Any advise? Tip?

Thanks a lot in advance.

Just an fyi - The ac97/HD audio cable from the case is an either/or. You would only connect one to your motherbd. Many motherbds support both types and you just change it in the bios to what you want or what your case has if it doesnt have both.

Did you try connecting the display to the motherbds video ports?
