Hello, I've been looking for video out cable "X to Dual-Link DVI", "x" being...well....anything. Im trying to see if I can get my laptop to push 144hz to a monitor. If I can, I may pull the trigger on a BenQ. If not, then I can wait.
The laptop is an ASUS G75VW (i7-3610QM, GTX660m), So yes, the gpu does support Dual-link DVI, and is capable of pushing 144+ frames (I really only want that bit for CSGO); however, the trouble is that there is not a single DVI port on the damn laptop. I have VGA, HDMI, Thunderbolt, and 4 usb 3,0 ports. Is there a way, using any combination of ports with the right cable, to push out Dual-link DVI at 144hz?

Thanks!

I was thinking about getting the XL2411Z for the price compared to the XL24110Z, but if those adapters are as pricey as the word "pricey" makes me think, then the price advantage of the XL2411Z is thrown out the window. In addition the "active" in active adapter makes me think "increased input lag", is there any truth in that? Finally, is thunderbolt capable of pushing 144hz as a video out? if so, I may actually spring for the XL24110Z.

Thank you for the help given so far! I wasn't expecting such a speedy reply!

Ah, well, if there was an increase in input lag, any benefit of the 144hz refresh would be limited, in addition, after checking into more adapters, it seems that there are no real solid models.

Thank you for your time, and willingness to help in this matter!
