mSATA Drive Speed

Hi,

I recently installed ADATA SX300 64 GB mSATA SSD to my GB GAZ68APD3 motherboard.
According to specification the SATA2_5 port will become unavailable when the mSATA connector is populated. SATA2 port is at 3Gb/s, hence the mSATA SSD is working at 3Gb/s?
This SSD has capability to go at 6 Gb/s, Is there any solution to get it running at 6Gb/s?

The OP was asking about the mSATA port, so switching cables is not a possibility in this case.

If it's anything like my Gigabyte board the mSATA is a SATA2 connction only.

Based on Gigabytes own support page for your mobo: http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3897#sp

2 x SATA 6Gb/s connectors (SATA3_0, SATA3_1) supporting up to 2 SATA 6Gb/s devices [the white ports]
4 x SATA 3Gb/s connectors (SATA2_2~SATA2_5) supporting up to 4 SATA 3Gb/s devices [the blue/cyan ports]

You are limited to connecting to only SATA3_0 and SATA3_1 ports for 6Gb/s, the rest are SATA2. If you are using the SATA3 ports already but not with SATA3 devices then simply switch SATA cables.
