My PC keeps doing this lately where when I try to launch a game after a couple hours of being on, the screen will go black and won't come back. I have to force shut it off with the button. After it turns on, my keyboard doesn't turn on until after the "Start Windows Normally" on the "windows has recovered from an unexpected shutdown" screen goes over. Anyone know why this happens?

This only happens with my brothers PC. His specs are:
CPU: Athlon X4 760k
GPU: MSI R7 260
MOBO: msi a78m-e35 mini-atx motherboard
PSU: EVGA 430 Watt
Ram: Crucial Ballistix Sport 8gb
HDD: WD Green 1.5 TB

I experienced this when I removed my R9 290X GPU and used an IGPU which is Intel HD4600 without uninstalling the drivers of my R9 290X. But even if I did uninstall the old R9 290X drivers, it still does the same thing: When launching a game it goes black and I need to force restart my computer.

I reinstalled again my R9 290X and the problem was fixed.

It's a possibility that the videocard is not that good enough for the game, driver issues, uninstalling and reinstalling the driver might fix it - not 100% sure but it's worth a shot.

I tried it, and I haven't seen it happen yet. Doesn't mean it won't. I don't see how his video card wouldn't be good enough for launching Minecraft if it is a R7 260x, however.
If it happens again, I will uninstall and reinstall the drivers.

Didn't seem to have worked. It BSOD'd last night, and went black screen again this morning not even long after turning it on. I'm going to see if the Event viewer says anything.
