Like the title says, Should i always download latest drivers from my motherboard manufacturer's website i.e ASUS or individual drivers for components from their respective websites? Like chipset from intel, sound & ethernet from realtek, and so on...?
I use a driver update utility called 3DP Chip and it always shows up with more/higher latest drivers for everything than the drivers listed in Asus motherboard website. Also other websites offer more latest versions.
So Is it safe to download drivers which are higher than listed/released in my Asus motherboard website?

System Specifics:
Motherboard = Asus H87 PRO
CPU: Intel i7-4770
GPU: Asus Nvidia GeForce GTX 760
Ethernet: Realtek RTL8111G
Audio: Realtek ALC887

Solution
Best to go with the MB website. There's always the off chance that the MB manufacturer had a proprietary change made to the driver for its benefit. When it comes to the gfx card, go to the chipset manufacturer's website for the latest driver. Nvidia in your case.
