So i got a Razer Deathadder a couple months ago and recently the grips started to come off. I wanted to keep the mouse so i got some super glue and tried using it to attach the grips back onto the mouse. In this process, i ended up getting it all over my mouse. I have no idea how to get it off. I was told not to try acetone so i tried Isopropyl Alcohol (91%). I used a q-tip, dipped it into the alcohol and attempted to rub it off but it yielded no difference. Are there any suggestions on how i could remove it?

Acetone is the recommended solvent for dissolving Cyanoacyrlate based adhesives so I'm not sure why you were told not to use it. If you have some Acetone based nail polish remover handy try using that. Acetone will attack some plastics though so test a small amount out on a non-critical part first. If it does soften or dissolve the plastic you'll have to go at it the good old fashioned way and scrape it off

I was told not to use it because it may melt not only the glue off, but the plastic on the mouse also

Yup, i am in fear of that happening which is why i would rather not use acetone.

Yeah that's why you should try a small dab on the bottom first, just enough to see if there's any adverse effects in a spot that won't be visible.

EDIT: as a side note, the other solvents are even nastier
