Solution M M mbarnes86 Aug 9, 2014 Hi most motherboards have connector for small speaker or similar (piezoelectric speaker) or sometimes they have one on the motherboard. Without this you can not get any beeps at startup you can buy a kit of piezoelectric speaker + leds + switches for testing new PC builds (example from Maplin UK) http://www.maplin.co.uk/p/motherboard-testing-switch-set-a31gf regards Mike Barnes
