HI,

I've recently gone on a spree of upgrading my rig the specs are as follows:
Mobo: Biostar MCPM6P M2+
Ram: 2x 2Gb Kingston HyperX
CPU:AMD Phenom II X4 945 @ 3.0Ghz
GPU: Nvidia Geforce 650 TI 2gb DDR5 ram
PSU: 650W

I've recently upgraded my PSU from a 500W to the 650W thinkning that there was an issue when everything was at peak load as i only ever see crashes when gaming.

When i do get crashes its just a complete system freeze and needs a hard reboot.

All drivers are upto date.

I've also consiidered that perhaps its a temperature issue. but my cpu only every reaches 40 degrees C, HDDs around 50, and graphics card peaks at 58.

Any Ideas?

Thanks

Check your bios version. Biostart issued an update for the C3 versions of the 945. See THIS page.

I flashed the bios right before installing the new processor, I don't think there are any later versions

What psu do you have now? What is the rating on the 12v rail(s)? What was your old psu?
