Hi everyone,
I am from a small town in India (state chhattisgarh). I see here that many Indian people building there pc.. i dont want to build a pc my self as i am noob in building a pc. But i want to get a custom pc according to my requirement. I do photo-video editing and also play games. I wanted to buy a ready pc from HP but the best available here in India is Hp envy phoenix 810-101in
As far as i could find out, i can not upgrade its graphic which is 4GB NVIDIA gt640 which isn't par gpu. I called HP many times and finally one from HP advised me to get a custom hp pc. i was ready but then none from local HP person contacted me yet, probably none hp support here in my town to get a custom pc.
So please anyone from India or anyone else, suggest me where can i get custom pc here in India
My budget is 1 lakh INR (about 2000$), can be stretched a bit more.
I want at least i7, 16gb ram, good graphic card, probably nvidia gtx series (760 etc) with good cooling as i have lost motherboard of my last laptop this summer due to over heating.
Hope someone reply me soon.
Thanking you

Solution
You will!

Its really easy believe me. Or if you're not confident, any local PC expert would do it for a nominal charge like INR 1000-2000 ($20-40). It really takes just some patience and fundamental knowledge :)
No expertise required, though its recommended to read all manuals, clear all doubts here and watch videos related to assembling the PC beforehand.

Thanks Joeteoh. I googled that site once, but i really don't have any idea about parts, compatibility..etc Is that site reliable?

Thanks Meteors.
But firstly i had very bad experience with dell india and their support. and my friend has similar experience from lenovo too, so no to both. More over, as far as i remember, dell india is now not providing any i7 system with good graphic card

But how to choose parts? The site suggested by joeteoh, is good to start though as Aryan said, its outdated. I wish to have a system how dell provides (used to provide in india) to get a custom pc

I couldn't really figure out any good Custom building companies here and eventually made myself a custom PC.

Use this site for building a custom PC: http://pcpartpicker.com/

It usually caters to many custom builders. Just add $100 to the overall price of the PC as we're in India and price hike gets accommodated in that.

You can get a dream rig in that price, if you make it yourself.

but isnt it true that gettinga pc/custom pc other than from own country may be problematic as the electric/electronic components are built according to power requirements of that particular country. Also warranty is available for the purchase country only

Hey its not like that. Suppose you get an i7 4th gen from flipkart.
It'd be warranted for within India only!

As for power requirements, like the PSU, if you get your components from any Indian site, Like Flipkart or Amazon India, then you'll receive a PSU with Indian type power connector :)

I am sure there're will be no incompatibilities whatsoever as long as you use Indian sites to purchase.

Proof: I've bought and made my custom rig in India, from Indian sites. check my sig and see if you find anything different from any other nation's member :)

Its just the money and skill which one needs to build custom PC. Money you have, skills we'll provide you :)

But the site you mentioned above has price in USD, so probably its not an indian site..?

I meant, build a PC from there. And then check the prices of components from Flipkart or Amazon India. Some components might not be available, but there's snapdeal and many other sites too. And both the above mentioned sites have almost all CPUs, GPUs, MoBos and RAM which PCPartPicker has in its list.

You need to look at it like trial and error, if you like a component, say Case, then see if it can fit your MoBo and GPU. then search if up on Indian sites, if its not there, repeat the process from the start with other Case.

Thanks Meteor. I always hear that assembling pc is easy but i will see if any local tech person do that for me, still i would prefer to just buy a readymade options lol
sometimes i think i should buy a console only for games and a pc just for other task...
