Blue-ray discs and static electricity

I am sorry if this sounds like a stupid question, but can a leaf blower damage a blue-ray disc (a PS3 disc) by building static electricity? I am asking because while cleaning my room, I decided I have to use a leaf blower to blow dust from the surface of my desk where some games were sitting on. By the way, they are still sealed and I haven't had a chance to play them. Could this damage my games? Your input is highly appreciated!

Solution
Blurays are optical media; they have nothing to be damaged by static. Pretty much only silicon components can be damaged by static.

They can still suffer physical damage, but if they're in boxes they'll be fine.

Thank you, Someone Somewhere. That was very helpful.

I have some more questions in mind that will help me take precautionary measures next time and would like you to clear it up for me:

1) Does static have to show up in the form of spark or it can be invisible?

2) Does it have to produce a sound?

3) Does the nozzle, in case of a leaf blower/vacuum cleaner, have to get in contact with electronic devices or the air blown/sucked can get electrostatically charged and ruin them?

4) Can plastic (disc cases), seals, wraps or wood (a drawer) act as an insulator to protect devices while blowing/vacuuming?

Yes, it really is confusing and scary. One last question; is it possible that the game boxes retained a charge? I mean is it safe to store them with my other games and play them without the likelihood of damaging either the PS3 or other discs? I am really sorry if my OCD came into play. Thank you for bearing with me and being helpful throughout the whole conversation!
