I was forced into redoing a build this week because like an idiot I left liquid on top of my secondary PC and it leaked through the Mobo, GPU, and the CPU.

I immediately ordered this new mobo:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?gclid=Cj0KEQ...

When it arrived I pulled one of my MSI 660 TI GPU's from my main PC and plugged it in just to get things started while I wait for my new GPU to arrive.

I am still using the CPU that got wet and could have possibly been damaged but I did clean it very well and the first time I booted up the PC everything seemed to be working as intended.

I boot it up and start to run the network and sound drivers from the mobo CD that was provided. Internet started to work right after the installation of the network drivers and then geforce experience prompted me to install the drivers for the 660 ti. I then started to download/install the drivers and walked away to eat dinner.

After I come back the system is still running but the keyboard and mouse lights are off and are not responding, same as the monitor which reads "no display".

I reseated the GPU, plugged it back in to the PSU, tried using 3 different connections to the monitor (2 dvi to hdmi, 1 hdmi to hdmi), and still got no results. I also tried plugging it into my HDTV which I do quite often to stream movies/tv but also got "no signal."

I saw in another thread that I should try to replug in the 4 pin cpu power plug and I will do that when i get home in a few hours but I am looking for a couple ideas or insight into my issue. I will try switching around USB ports as well for the peripherals but I don't think that is the issue.

Could the CPU be causing this? (I am certain the GPU, ram, psu are all fine. the mobo is brand new so I am assuming that is but it's a cheap biostar so who knows..)

Any Ideas on the best way to troubleshoot this are appreciated!!!

Current setup on new build:
BIOSTAR TA970
FX-4100
2x4gb ballistix 1600
MSI 660 TI PE
64gb sandisk ssd (boot)
120 gb Corsair force 3 ssd (storage)

mouse and keyboard that are no longer lighting up or responding:
logitech g502 proteus core , logitech g105

I tested the GPU out on my other PC and it works just fine so that is not the problem. logitech g502 proteus core and logitech g105 both light up and work flawlessly when used on my other PC so they are not broken either.

I also did all the connections again just to make sure. This is driving me crazy because it did boot and I was able to work on it for a little bit the other day but now I am not able to produce any type of video or get any peripheral to respond.

Two possibilities I see exist: CPU was damaged and worked one last time just to piss me off OR brand new mobo just stopped working after successfully booting a few times. I am leaning towards the CPU being damaged but don't want to remove the one in my other PC to find out just yet... But soon, maybe today I will.
