Hey guys, I'm a cs 1.6 gamer, I have a good pc which can run cod black ops 2 at high with very good fps but when I play counter strike I get only 40 fps and when I'm near an enemy fps drops to 5-10 and I die. Any solutions please? Its not because of the gpu and all. Will be appreciated if you tell. Thanks :))
P.S Tried almost all console commands to increase fps, changed the config, still no fps increase :/

Read what I said in the first line of my last reply. If you don't have a high speed, chances are the CPU/ GPU is not getting complete info about different areas in the game for computing in the time required, and so, even if its 4th gen i7, can't process it in time, because there's no info in first place, and thus the CPU/ GPU drops frame. I meant you may call it either frame drops or low FPS. Net speed is not related with ping.

Well if you get on bo2 at high good fps, your pc is not the problem ,the problem is ther game.Try to turn vsync off and try reinstalling your game or verify it on steam so it can repair error files etc...Maybe that helps.
