Hi there, im going to be building my own gaming pc for the first time and I wanted to know your opinions, mainly on compatibility as I can't afford to make any mistakes and also whether there would be any better parts to choose for a similar price.

My budget is pretty much gone, but I could stretch a little bit on prices.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance

You really need a 990FX socket motherboard for an eight core FX, otherwise you are going to risk blowing a VRM. You don't need 16GB of RAM for gaming. The SuperNOVA NEX power supplies are meh.

This build has a better motherboard, an SSD, better PSU, better GPU.

Ok thanks everyone for the fast replies they were very helpful to me :)

You do not need an FX-8350. An FX-8320 will save money and can perform at the same speeds as an FX-8350 with very little overclocking.

Yeah I wouldn't get the Nex series but the G2s and P2s are the best of the best. If you can get those for a rig I would definitely go for it.
