Trying to figure out if it is safe to hook up CM Jetflo 120s to my Asus Maximus Hero VI

Hello,

Is it safe to use these y splitters ( http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00B46XKKQ/ref=pe_385040_121528360_TE_dp_1 ) to hook up two CM Jetflo 120s (with blue LEDs) to each of my Asus Maximus Hero VI mobo's 3 chassis fan headers?

Will it short out the mobo? Are they PWM headers (like the CPU fan header is)?

Thanks for your help!

  1. I had my jetflos plugged directly to my M6H and now with a splitter because I am using them with a radiator, havent had any issue so far. So no worries, you wont damage the motherboard.

So you think it'll be all right to have 6 Jetflo 120s running off of my mobo? That's also in addition to my CPU fan.

Each header provides up to 1 Amp/12 watts, the JetFlos make use of 0.4Amps/4.8 watts so two connected with a splitter to the header draw 0.8 amp/9.6 watts.
