Hello. I've recently upgraded my pc , and instead of getting cable extensions as my sidewinder x4 got damaged. I was cleaning it and when I put it together put the screws in too tight and made 3 holes through the wrist rest.
A good mechanical is going to run more closer to $100 then $50 sadly. The one I use was $130, but I got mine for typing purposes, not gaming. Far as what kind of switch, Cherry MX Red's are the overall preferred gaming kind, followly closely by Cherry MX Browns. I run Cherry MX Blues, but they do click, and are more for typing. An example of a keyboard I would suggest:

Hmmm, any around 60$. I guess I will have to deal with the sidwinder for longer. Maybe the warranty will cover it? Should I just get the extensions instead?
I will buy the extensions slowly. They are like 10 dollars each so space it out by like a week each or something.
You used to be able to find the Cooler Master Quickfire Rapid (no 10 key/numberpad) for around $70-80 but haven't seen any at that price recently or in stock.
