Should I use the same motherboard?

So it has recently come to my attention that I need to buy a new motherboard, which is terrifying since that means I'll have to take all the parts out and put them onto the new one. Anyhow, I figure I should just by the same motherboard as I had before, which would be ASRock N68C-GS FX AM3+/AM2 NVIDIA GeForce 7025/A&V&GbE Micro ATX. What do you guys think?

Well I bought a new graphics card and after installing it, my computer was no longer showing any video signals. After trying a lot of stuff, some other guys said that my motherboard was probably the problem.

Can't say with certainty. Which video card you have bought and what was the one you were using previously? Also have you tried to update the BIOS and then clearing CMOS? If not, better do it.

I took out the little battery on the motherboard that I was told would clear the CMOS. Sorry, I'm not great with computers but I'm trying my best. I had a radeon 5450 I think and I bought a nvidia geforce gt 630

Ok. What is your PSU? Try to update the BIOS of the mobo. If possible pl post your specs here

if your pc is running with the old card and not with the new then the new card must be faulty not your board....

I put the old card back in and it still isn't working. How do I reset the bios? I can't get a visual.

Removing battery for some time should have cleared the CMOS or reset the BIOS. Try it again and use built-in GPU. Connect the video cable on the backside of the mobo at the built-in GPU port not on the GT 630

Not possible. The mobo hasn't been giving visuals since I first got it.
