This just keeps driving me crazy, wich laptop is better.

All I want to do is do simpel 3D modelling an be able to play: AC unity, far cry 4, the devision, and other block buster titles that are coming out.

Cooling is really important to me but so is the power of the laptop.

I'd get the Asus one, it has phenomenal cooling and the CPU is only a few Mhz less in clock speed compared to the other i7 in the MSI.

I'd get the MSI as it has a better, faster i7 CPU: http://ark.intel.com/compare/75116,78937

The only downside to the MSI is the smaller SSD: 120 GB vs 256 GB. If this will be an issue, you may want to see if an SSD upgrade is an available option.

No, only if you do 4k then it matters.
