Is this caused by a virus? How to fix this?

Hello! Just a few hours ago my pc was running normally using ~10% of CPU and 25-30% of RAM on Idle / or using google chrome for minor purposes.
The Pc started to lag a bit , though it's normal for it , cause it had some problems from the beginning : http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-2229274/causing-...
http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-2212292/system-g...

I wanted to quickly scan my pc with adwcleaner_3.212 , so didn't update it , though it asked me to. It found some "problems" and removed them, then restarted as usual. Just a few minutes later pc went mad...

1. The memory usage started to grow, reaching 50%+
2. Hard disk started making loud noises
3. Windows 7 turned off fancy graphics
4. antivirus turned off
5. Pc crashed / auto-restarted

Now it's better , but still some of the programms are using more memory then usually. It started in this order :svchost, chrome, skype. I'd say that now they're racing to see who can use more memory, sometimes going further eachother ... Both svchost and chrome have multiple "clones" ,again using more memory then usually. The Cpu usage seems to be ok now, but the memory is gone up to 40% (1.58 GB of 4 GB) (while doing the same as always) and the programs listed above use more then 100.000 kb memory (going to reach 150.000 soon) .
Also svchost (the most memory-hungry one) has more services then usually :

wudfsvc, WPDBusEnum, UxSms, SysMain, PcaSvc, Netman, Cscservice, AudioEndpointBuilder. There are also RpcSs and RpcEptMapper services with another svchost.

I have noticed lag on my pc before but not this much... also haven't paid attention before but is it ok if avgnt.exe has 500 - 1000 page faults, and chrome has 2000 (in the task manager) ??? Chrome also has the most IO read bytes and IO write bytes .

The most interesting thing is that the numbers are raising : 40% solid memory usage is getting 43%,44% solid , chrome will soon reach 200k kb memory usage and even more IO read bytes and IO write bytes. And it's raising pretty fast. so i would be glad if you could help me before something worse happens. Thanks for the patience and thanks for the help in advance.

P.S. sorry for reposting the same message, i have not other options for now...

It can be a virus, or screwed up registry by cleaner. Either way, there are some temporary solutions, but the best you can do is reinstall windows.

What are the temporary solutions? Because I can't do a reinstall now.

Btw I've done a system restore. It seems like it has harmed the system a bit but the memory usage seems ok at the startup, then it grows again, though much slower then before.

Alright, ther's a chance that you can simply uninstall the virus, so go to the "uninstall programs" and uninstall everything suspicious (eg. program you dont know that was installed about the time problems started happening). Also scan your PC with an antivirus.

Antivirus and Malwarebytes give nothing. All proccesses are known, they just use more memory than usually.

No unknown programs, no unknown processes. Avira antivirus and malwarebytes just give no results. I am quite accurate and search for new added programs all the time.

Then maybe it's not a virus, maybe it's too many programs, or corrupted files. Reinstalling Windows is the best (and possibly only) solution. What's your hardware? Maybe it's incompatibility of some sort.
