Yesterday it was around 38-30 degrees on idle, then I updated my bios on windows then I tried to overclock a bit, it crashed 3-4 times. Now it's around 42 degrees idling. Non turbo mode.My GPU seems a bit hot too for idling, its a r9 290. CPU gets to 70 degrees on prime95 8 thread small fft test.

Tried to get everything in there. If I'm doing something wrong, please correct me and lead me to the right way. I got the noctua nh-d14 and cooler master haf x

Idle temps are extremely variable. If your CPU is doing slightly more then the heat production will go up by a notable percentage, if your room is 2C warmer then your idle temps will go up by 2C.

Load temps are really what matters, idle temps aren't going to impact anything.

CPU is at 67 degrees while gaming, default settings, not overclocked. Typing while on facebook is slowed at the moment while cpu is at 65 degrees.

People with stock cooling have this fps, I'm using noctua nh-d14, this is really stupid.

It reached 71 degrees this run. Battlefield 4 on ultra.
