So I've got a new case fan (Jetflow 120) for my Cooler Master K281. I have AsRock 990FX Extreme 4 motherboard.

I attached this case fan to cha_fan1 (4 pin), the front and rear fans have 3 pins, I have connected front fan to PSU and rear to motherboard.

My new fan is running very fast (I didn't use the adapters of 1600RPM and 1200RPM which came in the box, I attached it directly to cha_fan1). I want to control its speed. I tried speedfan and asrock tuner but both are unable to do it, I tried from bios also (changed to manual from full on, and level 1 but still the speed is same).

What should I do? Suggest some ways to control the fan speed.

It's showing 5000RPM. It may damage my system?

Can't go for that at the moment. Can't it be solved by other means?
