One single bent pin in LGA 1150, strange CPU-heavy problems in PC

So I am using a Gigabyte UD3H Z87X motherboard and i7 4770K, and in March when I was putting on an h100i (beforehand had removed CPU multiple times due to wrong sized cooler, leaking cooler, blah blah) and noticed that one single pin in the top right section was bent to the left, not like the rest, and my computer works with this, but in-game in specific CPU heavy instances, the whole computer shuts off, just whoosh, off, like someone pulled the power on it. Would it be safe to assume this one pin is the cause of that? I have replaced my PSU, this happened with 2 different video cards, and I ran 5 passes on my ram with memtest and 0 errors.

Solution
Yep, I'd say it's definitely the pin. Considering it's already munted, you could try using a small, then piece of plastic to move the pin back into place. If your issues persist, you'll probably have to send the mobo in for repairs. :(

Thought so, because I have been able to replicate the shutoffs with 100% success in the games it happens in, and I will attempt to bend the pin back myself, as Gigabyte says this motherboard is no longer manufactured and I would have to send it in for repairs instead, and I really don't want to do that...

Yeah :( unfortunately if it doesn't work you're going to have to. You might even be better off just buying a new mobo, they charge heaps (sometimes more than the board actually costs) to repair sockets. :(

Let me know how it goes :) please consider picking my answer if I've helped.

Currently using the Corsair HX850, and a single video card, I did replace it when these issues occurred thinking that would fix it, but nope, though I just bent my mobo's single bent pin back with a normal metal pin very very carefully, and now I can do things that would previously cause a shutfoff, so thank you very much, I will select your answer now. Thanks for the help :D

Great to hear, no worries! I sold someone a motherboard and they returned an hour later saying it doesn't work and demanding a refund, I looked at the socket and they had bent like 5 pins... don't think I'll be able to move these ones back into place.... Goodbye $115 motherboard! My life sucks D:
