CPU or GPU, CPU or GPU, I KEEP ASKING MYSELF THE SAME QUESTION!!

Ok, i can either have an i7-4770k and an amd r9 280x or an i5-4670k and an amd r9 290. I will make youtube videos in sony vegas once or twice a week but i will mainly do gaming 2-3 hours daily. So what do u recommend, ill play watch dogs at ultra which's ultra requirements are an r9 290 so thats why i wanna go with it. But on the other hand, i wanna be more future proof by going with an i7-4770k so, I CANT DECIDE WHETHER TO GO WITH THE CPU OR THE GPU!!! Help please

i5-4670k Is fine, You can overclock it if you want.. depends on the cooler. Go with the more powerful GPU

Rendering with an i7 will help a lot.
If you going to render throughout the year, the i7 will be beneficial. The R9 280X will be ok for ultra settings.

An in-between would be getting a Intel Xeon 1230 V3 which is like a locked i7 without the integrated graphics.

Otherwise I would go for the i5/ 290.
