Hi, I just recently installed my OS and was trying to install drivers for my Gigabyte Z97X SLI motherboard (with an Intel i5-4690K for the CPU) and was having trouble getting it to pick up wi-fi connections from routers. I'm trying to install the driver "Intel Network Connections Software", and when I try to install its Intel Network Connections SNMP agent I get the following error message:

"The Microsoft SNMP Service is not installed. Please install it and run the Setup program again"

Google is yielding little and I'm not sure where to find the SNMP download or how to make it so that my computer can pick up router wi-fi signals. Any tips or advice?

Solution
the specs for the board only list a wired ethernet port. It does not list a wireless device. So unless you are adding your own wireless card you will need to connect your wired ethernet card to your router via ethernet cable.
