So I'm looking for a new CPU cooler to replace my stock one. I'm looking for a cooler that doesn't need a backplate, because I'm still a newbie and don't want to damage the motherboard by pulling it out of the case. These are the two coolers I'm currently looking at: CM Hyper TX3 and a CM Hyper T4. I'd rather get the T4, but I'm guessing that the TX3 will better fit in my case.

My PC specs:
CPU: AMD Trinity A10-5800K (stock cooler)
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 7660D (integrated)
MOBO: ASRock FM2A75M-DGS
RAM: 2x4GB Kingston 1600mz
PSU: Chieftec 500w gpa-500s8
Case: Chieftec mesh cq-01b

Unless you really screw up hard and are just the clumsiest person in the world you probably wouldn't mess up your motherboard. Although if you insist on that notion I would agree that the TX3 would fit better in your case. Also I'd check out the new air coolers by cryorig, a recently formed company of cooling specialists from other companies. They've done some quite impressive things and are quickly earning a name for themselves.

I still don't want to risk it, when I build my own PC rig, than I'll probably put in a CM Hyper 212 evo or something like that. Those cryorig coolers look really nice, but they're much too expensive for me, so I guess I'll have to stick with the TX3. Thank you for the answer anyway.
