Help with new RAM upgrade

I have http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128412 Mobo and just ordered http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0050119O0/ref=pe_385040_121528360_TE_dp_1 ram. I put it in and it worked for about a good minute before shutting off my PC. I turned it back on and still same thing even shorter this time. Does this RAM work for my MOBO? Do I need change settings? I'm currently using http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?gclid=CKe484yah8ACFWuCMgodeToAmg&Item=N82E16820231310&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleAdwords&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-_-pla-_-Desktop+Memory-_-N82E16820231310&ef_id=U@ZwXwAABFjf4iFt:20140809221328:s and can I use both RAM kits together?

What CPU? and what OC on it (will take a healthy OC to run 2133 on that mobo) as far as mixing them could try at maybe 1333, 9-9-9-27, 1.55, they might play

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115214 thats my cpu. I don't really know how to overclock anything. If I just want to run the 8G only should it just work when I plug it in? Or do I need to mess with BIOS settings?

If you just got the sticks, I'd return them, 2133 is going to require a OC of the CPU (fairly healthy OC), your CPU is rated up to 1066/1333 sticks so 1333 should cost a lot less, save your money
