So if I want to go triple monitor, I have to get another 760? Also, I was wondering if maybe I should just wait for the 880 and buy that instead of an extra 760.
While single cards are usually are better since you have don't have to worry about increased heat and power draw, in SLI optimized games 2 GTX760 4GB are very fast, and I can speculate that they will be faster than a single GTX880 (AGAIN : Only in games that scale well with SLI).
BUT the GTX880 is close, so waiting a little while to see how it turns out is a good way to go too.
Oh, forgot, no, it can't I'd say, even a 780 ti can only handle 3, I'd say it can only handle 2
So if I go SLI how high can I put the settings on MLL? (still triple monitor)
if you go sli, You just enable sli and let the goblins in your system do the rest, though taht won't boost performance really, just save up for a r9 290x or 780/780 ti
