Need A Laptop For Programming/Mild-Gaming/Classwork

So, I am going to college in a few weeks. I will be studying Computer Science. I am looking for a laptop that fits these areas:
-Programming
-Casual Gaming
-Classwork
-Intel Gen 4 Based
-Windows
-Up to $1500 USD
-15"~17"(Not required, just would be nice)
Thanks for the help. I would prefer if there is a warranty plan, if not included. I am just having a hard time picking one from so many options and variables.

Check this out and tell me if it's something you'd be interested in. It's on the higher end of your price range, however it comes with a SSD/HDD combo, and has a pretty good GFX card. (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834152403R&cm_re=msi-_-34-152-403R-_-Product)

All in all it's a pretty good laptop for the price. It is open box however, but that doesn't detract from the fact it's a great laptop for the money. I would recommend a macbook for computer science

All major programming languages and IDEs run nicely in OSX with the exception of Visual Studio which can easily be run in a Windows OS either dual booted using bootcamp or virtualized using VMWare Fusion.

A good macbook is pricey though, so you may wish to look for something more affordable from Lenovo
