How much of a difference is Between r9 280 & r9 280x?

you will get 10 frames or more maybe 25-30 depending on the game and how its optimized. Battlefield 4 and Hardline will very much appreciate the 280x over the 280 but after that definitely upgrade to a Athlon X2 or X4. It will definitely be worth it.
