Hello

I am builidng a Z97 system with a i7 4790K.

I will use ssd and hd drives. Now I have a Samsung EVO 120gb ssd. It has been suggested that I should have at least 250gb ssd for the os and main progams.

Would it be ok to add another 120gb ssd drive to the 120gb ssd?

If so, can I mix brands? The store where I live are selling Samsung Pro's 128gb for 100 dollars.
Is this a good one? I know the read and write times are different for the two.

If I buy a 250gb ssd, I will buy the EVO.

You should not have any problems installing additional solid state drive. I have two desktop systems and each pc has multiple solid state drives. One of my desktop pc's has a Samsung 840 EVO, a Samsung 830, and a Samsung 470. I use the 830 for data storage and the old 470 for regularly scheduled weekly backups that are done automatically every Sunday morning. My second pc has a Samsung ssd and an old Kingston ssd. I have not experienced any issues.
