I need some information since I'm a noob on pc stuff. I've posted a thread a while back and was told I need to upgrade my tower if I wanted to add a better cooler. I need to know what I can get to go with my cpu (1045T Phenom 2 x 6) and my graphics card (R7 240 4GB). I figured why not upgrade everything (mobo, psu, case)
Thanks in advance

Solution
You have two options:

Keep the Phenom II x6, the motherboard, hdd and ram
Get a new PSU, case, AMD gpu - to use mantle and take advantage of all 6 cores on future games- and possibly an SSD if the budget allows.
Your biggest problem right now is the weak GPU. You change that and you'll see a big improvement.

2) get a new pc - not the best choice since you have a decent enough CPU that will work even better in new games because they are more threaded these days.
You can still keep the ram and the hdd with a new build as long as they;re ddr3

Since you didn't give me a max price for the upgrade i chose something not too cheap but not too expensive either.

He wants to run 120+ fps @ 1080p. So he needs everything. This will be his Xmas present so I'll buy everything on black Friday so I can get some deals, I'll need everything Windows, mobo, psu, case, gpu, hard drives, DVD drive and anything else I'm missing.
Thanks

You have some pretty good deals there so you might want to reconsider waiting for black Friday. It should be doing 120fps in good optimised games but in order to guarantee 120fps in every game you pretty much have to go enthusiast mode and spend about 3k on a system and even then it might not be possible in some games.

The peripherals i chose are the ones that i like best from my personal experience. I like things to last and microsoft keyboards and logitech mice always last long. The rest is pretty self explanatory - the fastest build i can make for the money considering future games.
