Changing graphics card from gtx760 to gtx780, will a thermaltake 550watt psu be enough??

It should be enough if you don't overclock, but which Thermaltake is it?
Considering you're getting an expensive high end GPU it's very important that you have a good quality PSU to give it clean and stable power. :)

That's okay, you're very welcome :) 

It's not a great PSU, I recommend you upgrade to this if you can afford to do so. It'll allow you to OC as much as you'd like, too. You current PSU SHOULD work, but it's not in the recommended specs and it'd push it pretty far.

As long as the PSU has a maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 37 Amps or greater and has at least one 6-pin and one 8-pin PCI Express supplementary power connectors it should be sufficient.
