Hello guys,

I am building a budget pc and my rig is

AMD 3.5 AM3+ FX 6-Core Edition FX-6300 (FD6300WMHKBOX) Processor

ASUS M5A97 LE Motherboard

Transcend DDR3-1333 DDR3 4 GB PC RAM (JM1333KLN-4G)

ZOTAC NVIDIA GTX 750TI 2 GB DDR5 Graphics Card

WD Caviar Blue 500 GB Desktop Internal Hard Drive (WD5000AAKX)

Now, I wanted this PSU 'Corsair SMPS CX430 430 Watts PSU' (budget being $60) but after trawling through the net, I realized I also need a compatible (pure sine wave?) UPS for it to work properly. I am feeling utterly confused regarding what to choose now.

Can you guys suggest me something that will work while taking into account that I am from India and some options might not be available over here?

Best,
Imamon.

Like 17Baby says, power cuts are frequent over here so a UPS is a must. What I want to know is whether there are some guidelines I should follow when I buy a decent UPS that would be compatible to a UK make PSU..

Now that I am a bit more knowledgeable about it...

The Corsair CX430 PSU is an Active PFC PSU and my Microtek 625Va UPS gives out modified sine wave. I read that the CWT capacitors in the PSU can work inspite of the different sine wave pattern.

Thank you all for replying :)
