Rate my new gaming PC please!

Below is my first ever pc build. I need some comments on how good this pc is for budget below $1000.

CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz
Motherboard: Asus Z97-K/CSM ATX LGA1150
GPU: Asus Radeon R9 280X 3GB DirectCU II Video Card
RAM: Kingston Fury Red Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866
STORAGE: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM
PSU: SeaSonic 620W 80+ Bronze Certified Fully-Modular ATX

I haven't decided with the case yet. Could someone suggest one for me? I want it to look good and somewhere around $100. Mid tower or full tower? hmm.. Feel free to modify the parts cos I'm still a newbie in this :)

Hey Joe thanks for your reply. :)

I am not going to overclock the CPU. Do I still require a cooler for it?

You could save some money and get not locked version as you are not going to overclock. However there should be a cooler that comes with the CPU. So you should be fine if you do not overclock at all.

Okay thanks a lot! Could you suggest a case for me? O.O I'm currently looking at Corsair Spec 02 but i heard a lot of complaints about the cable routing :S
