Side panel fan intake or exhaust?

I have Cooler Master K281 case, one intake fan, one exhaust, and now I bought one side panel fan (jetflo 120). The temps have dropped after using side panel fan. I'm using it for intake.

The issue is that the side panel fan doesn't have dust filters, and I don't want to buy any dust filter at the moment. Should I put the fan in exhaust mode? Is that fine? That'll prevent dust intake but will that also maintain the cooling?

Solution

I would suggest getting some type of filter but if you cant just dust the outside everyday with something like a swiffer duster. Check the inside every few weeks and if its dirty use some compressed air to clean it.
